It all started with wanting to give a little escapism to people in a stressed out world.
Think about it. We sit at our desks every day with our computer screen savers of blissful
island holiday locations. Why? Because the truth is that's where we'd rather be!
We wanted to take you away from the work in front of you to a destination of your choice. Attempting to transcend previous boundaries of technology by creating a seamless emotional connection with the online experience. In fact, we wanted the technology to be almost invisible when you look around and enjoy the experience for what it is. To enjoy the serenity.
To do this, we here at the Australian digital agency August created Have a Holiday On Us – a selection of immersive online mini-holidays to whisk you away for some R&R... all without having to leave your desk.
